The point of departure of the Urban Transformations and Urban Histories conference is the present and historical processes and power conflicts of the changing economic, political and spatial circumstances of cities. To expand and deepen these perspectives, the purpose of the conference is to create interdisciplinary discussions among diverse academic fields, between academia and practitioners in urban planning and cultural heritage and among different professional disciplines.
